I bought a pair of these at Petro about a month ago. I'm pleasantly surprised to run across anything of decent quality these days and have been quite pleased with these lights. Takes four AA batteries and I've used them on 3 or 4 trips now and still running on original batteries. Solid construction with a button on the side, one push light comes on, second push light flashes, third push light "waggles" from side to side, fourth push off. The magnets are very strong, you have to tug a little just to remove them. I wouldn't be afraid to mount them upside down on a steel surface.
Overpriced at the Petro, but seeing them for as little as $80 for a pair online. I have a steel trailer, but even if I had an aluminum I would probably get these for long beams and things or bolt some steel plates to the back to put them on. I'd even consider a steel plate to put them on the cab extenders on the truck if I hadn't already put strobes on the top. good item. much easier and more reliable than wiring in strobes or running wires for overhanging steel IMO.

It's just crazy I've never moved a oversize under $3/mi or anything over 10ft for under $4/mi....yet I've been getting calls for 12ft paying $2.10/mi and they get permits,I'd never trust a broker with that job.
Last call I got for one was Houston,tx to Tulsa,ok stepdeck oversize, he never said anything about it being over size until I asked he was just so happy he had a load that paid $3/mi I said what's it pay total he said $1,350......I said what miles you show he said 450......your off than I told him I run that lane all the time it's 558 miles with the detour around 69 in McAlester,Ok....he stopped me and said you turn before that you don't have to go that far......I said o so you can run that turn pike at 12' wide now that's great.....LOL!! he didn't know anything about no oversize on that Stretch of turn pike on 44 yes but not that one.
I told him $2,100 he said I was f n crazy!!! that he moves them all day for that and some guys have called back for more. I said if there happy making $1,350 on a two day oversize let them have it....with that he replied I'll call someone else you don't know what your doing driver, you can drop this load same day you pick it up.......this guy was smoking some good sh!!!!!!!!!!dannythetrucker Thanks this. -
but anyway back on topic I agree they are good quality, I bought some no name ones online and after one 11 hour day the things wouldn't be nearly as bright. I overpaid for the foxfires however, $110 for the pair at TA, after using points however they were about $70.

Fox fire are the best on the market. The magnets are great!! I had a set of the $20 china made crap and lost them in the first 200 miles of an OS load I was hauling. Never again!!!
