Found it in a local truck junk yard. It has a small Cummins not sure of the size probably 250. 13 Speed trans. It had a 24 ft box on it so it has a long frame with a tandem axle with camel back suspension. It runs good they use it to pull non running trucks with. The interior is good. The cab has some rust but not rusted through. What would it be worth? I think it would be cool restored. Are they hard to find parts for?

The guy told me $2000 but that was his starting price. I have several brass bulldogs that could go on it..

It needs the fenders and headlight bezels but other than that it pretty solid even underneath the cab..

I would give scrap price for it or a little over. That truck looks to be an early 60's model. Parts should not be real hard to come by in other junk yards. Here in Ky there are alot of truck junk yards with F model Macks. I am looking for a B61 Mack but the ones that I have found so far want way to much for them.

That is a Western Mack. You can tell by the style grill and the Mack emblem on the side, plus aluminum tanks. Most Macks were made in Allentown, Pa, but those were made in Hayward, Ca, which makes it a little more rare.

Here's a running F model that could probably be bought much less than the asking price.

If you can get it for less than 3k, then yes get it.

Restore it (7k less IF, 12-16kw/IF) and sell it for 50k on tp.com. (hey a sucker is prn every 30 seconds right?)

Then buy a t2 or 387, even a decent (if there is such a thing)friggin freightshaker!
