Any advice on how Fortune ( MI & NM ) treats drivers , etc? Almost went to work out of Roswell NM years ago, but have found I like OTR. Starting next week it seems. Not a ton of OTR...but been around driving forever.

    Thanx,

Fortune UPDATE: Well, I took the job @ Fortune out of Roswell NM & Windom MN. I actually rescued a driver in ABQ,NM with a medical card issue...suppose my "test-drive" was ABQ-Roswell. Dropped him off....picked up my 2012 Columbia, complete w/APU, backed under a pre-load..got quicky Qualcomm info, & rolled out for Windom MN. Had a couple of routing issues ( my fault ) but really not a problem. Got to the home yard, was introduced around, got in the company pickup, went to great motel. Had breakfast w/the Safety Manager, did the paperwork....watched the obvioius CD's...did a quick tour of the shop, reviewed pertinent paperwork. Will be getting more info on Qualcomm & some laptop computer (mine) stuff in the a.m. 'n this driver is off & running!!!

I am nothing less than impressed so far. Everyone has been EXACTLY as advertised. Very refreshing I have to say....as I've been jacked around way more than anyone should be.

Parts dept had everything I wanted/needed....Great driver comforts..showers, washers, TV's, etc. Will keep sending updates as I can, but so far it's very encouraging. What a change...if you know what I mean.

It looks like my area might be cheese, etc from NM...up to the north/Midwest.....down/over to the logical food-type warehouses...back to the NM/TX area...'n back around ABQ/Roswell for down-time...do it again. Woo-Hoo.

Ya, that's a good run, When Leprino had there own fleet they had dedicated drivers from Denver that drove just to Wisconsin and back to Denver, I tried to get on that years ago but I had to move to Denver to do it, glad that I didn't, i'm sure you know the rest of the story with Leprino's fleet going bye, bye, I know the Roswell drivers ran like Roswell to Wisconsin to Denver back to Roswell, nice miles good luck to ya ........
