I'm assuming you have your own numbers (O/O)??? I believe the only way to change that score (CSA score) is to get inspected... And it takes more than one Clean inspection to make much of a difference, because its some type of average.

The only way for drivers to see their score is to look at their company on the fmcsa site. And scroll through all the inspections and pick out yours.

That may be different now. Last time I looked. It wasn't very easy to find anymore.

Keep in mind. Company scores are only good for 2 years. And have a different system for dropping. Where as the drivers are 3 years, 2 years, 1 year.

    I want to say it's 24 months, 18 months, 12 months increment.

So, wouldn't a 1 man company have a lowered score as time goes on. Also. Besides trying to average out with clean inspections? After 2 years. There's no score for each violation.

IN other words. Don't get inspected. And if you do. You better pass.

No. Drivers have no score. There is just a PSP report for the drivers the list inspections, suspensions and wrecks. That is all.
Just because some companies create a score out of thin air doesn't mean there is one for the driver.

Drivers don’t have points or a score or whatever anyone calls it. Only a motor carrier can have CSA points and a safety rating.

And the carrier gets those points from what driver does. Correct.

    The carrier isn't getting inspected.

Some companies will fire or not hire if driver has too many points.

So. Driver has something. We just can't see it on our own reports.

    Seems unfair to many,Right??

But,It has to be this way because If outside inspections counted-ppl would be Cheating left and right with clean inspections.

Like I said. Some companies assign their values to the driver, but the driver does not have any numerical value. Call it score, points, or whatever. Any numerical value assigned to the driver is done by the company, not by CVSA.
Heck, some companies even have a point value based on call in's from 4 wheelers....

And yes, the carrier is getting inspected, if only by proxy.

    There's a cvsa book.

Used to be sold at truckstops. Don't know if it still is.

Some members on here can say how many points a violation is worth.

And those violations go to the carrier, not the driver.
