The linked story at the beginning indicates the FMCSA, after publishing this Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking redacted the public comments and then fought for 6-18 months to keep those private.25(2)+2 Thanks this. -

Certainly nobody thought they’d be satisfied with electronic logs, but if you have nothing to hide you should have nothing to worry about, right?W923, tscottme and exhausted379 Thank this. -

I listen to a Rogan podcast while driving the other day that freaked me out. We’ve become accustomed to new technological advancements, but we have no idea and probably can’t even conceive the advancements that are coming over a very short time span and I’m talking just in the next few years not to mention the next couple of decades. This entire world is about to change. Artificial intelligence is a real thing and it’s able to teach its own self. It will have a compound effect. Things like reversing, aging, or stopping aging are about a decade away. All diseases, curable, automation of basically every single aspect of life as we know it now. in the next couple of decades alone up to 50% of the workforce won’t need to work. Eventually leading to a world where no one will have to work at all. Working will quickly become ancient history and thought of as a previous primitive life existence. The integration of artificial intelligence with humans will result in humans being 1 million times more intelligent than they currently are by the year 2043. Long story short, the world will be unrecognizable in a couple of decades from now, if not sooner. Yeah, it’s really happening. This is far beyond just getting a new updated iPhone, or the newest technological gadget that we’ve all become accustomed to. From how we build infrastructure, to run computing systems, to managing knowledge and technology, is all about to build on its own self.
I wouldn’t even worry about a few new upcoming regulations. What you need to worry about is in 10 years from now the hybrid, half human, half artificial, intelligent robots that are roaming this earth. Because they are coming. Never throughout human history have we ever put a cap or put technology back in the box or said no thanks. we don’t work that way. We all want the latest newest and they will feed it to us until we wake up one day and realize we’ve lost all control. LolSmallPackage and wis bang Thank this.
