Company snapshot says different. Good OOS record, low turn over rate

how do you figure a low turn over rate ????

 

Exactly how do you figure it ? i worked their for years, explain to us how you figured that ?
Answer is oops no possible way to computate that from any safe stat statistic

 

That company hasn't had a review since 1991. Over 20 years. The only way that happens is if you're doing it right. They are doing it right.

 

LoL So factually By the fmcsa site report ,, we have carriers out here that have not been reviewed for over 2 decade's.
21 Years.
This is good ? I find this alarming . That any carrier could make it 10 years without one let alone 21 years without a formal review.
I still cant find any correlation between how a carrier treats its employee's "all employees" and a snapshot from the Fmcsa.
Nor can I find any correlation of such things in relation to driver turn over. Unless the only determing factor to being happy is based upon Equipment .

No matter how good of a show one puts on, no matter how much they cya.
Safety is the prime directive at the fmcsa and to have a carrier go 21 years without any formal review I find absolutely unacceptable and absurd .
We the public know and understand your underfunded but 21 years seriously ?

 

Yes it is. The reason is we all get pulled in for inspections. If there is no violations, or very few, they usually don't audit the company. If you look at companies like Gordon, Market Transport, etc, you'll see the same pattern. Very low scores, haven't been audited in years. Fleetmaster is doing something right, meaning the OP is less than honest in his assertions.

 

Assertions? The ops assertions are fact with the exception of the terminal manager stuff i cant speak on that .
I worked at fleetmaster express for a few years and have confirmed it. Not only drivers but everyone cant seem to get a raise ..
They are always hiring in every market for which they have a terminal.
They did have nice equipment ..I recall . Some may like being underpaid some may not .To each his own but his post was mostly factual with regards to the topic at hand .
The 21 year thing is excessive I have notified the proper federal authorities ..
A review is due .

A review would not be needed if no patern of violations. Why would they audit a company that sends no flags. That is what the system is for, violations occure it warns of problems. If no problems exist why do they need investigated. I do not see the logic in this thinking of checking just to check. And if they were audited, peolple would complain as there was no evidence to warrant the inspection. You just cat win.

 

Fatboy I understand your argument . Humans being human in order to fly under the radar just when things look bad play it safe ... let it chill for a while ..
then back to business as usual. 21 years Their will never be any justification or excuse to warrant no formal review for a period of 21 years.
If they are so proud of their operations then why not move the entire fleet to e-logs .. They got nothing to worry about right?
A motor carrier is subject to oversight to keep the driver and the public safe ...
