I want to get my drivers ladders that designed to be used with a flatbed trailer. Specifically to be able to hook on to rub rails, or stake pockets. Looking to just get onto the deck of the trailer. What do you use/recommend? Just trying to increase the safety when checking load security or whatever. I saw a few options online, but just looking for real world experience. Thanks

Do a search. I started a thread about that not very long ago and there were lots of replies. If you don't find it I will try to resurrect it. I need to get going and get one instead of just talking about it.

I use a ladder made by IAS Innovative Access Solutions. The ladder weighs 18 pounds, hooks onto the rub rail and can be assembled in less than 30 seconds. I store it on top of my trailer storage box.

Harbor Freight has a ladder that makes several configurations that can be used for flatbeds or steps. It is very compact. I don't recall seeing a hook for the side rail, but your drivers could use a bungee to secure the ladder to the side rail and it could also be used to get on top of a load, when needed. You can catch them on sale for about $119. Even when they are not on sale they sell for less than $200.
