So I talk to the recruiter from May trucking company. She explained to me that I would be paid a flat rate of $115 per day no matter what but my mileage pay would be $.38 a mile with additional safety bonuses at 8K, 9K and 10Kmiles. The difference of the mileage paid and the flat rate pay would be paid out on the first check of the following month if I was to make more in mileage than I did with the flat rate. Has anyone ever been paid in this way before?
