So I filled out there app. I got an offer. They say they will pay $14hr during training. When I review the paperwork it says I will have to pay back training if fired etc. Now the catch is that Amazon has or will have already paid for the cdl training. What to do?

So to clarify, Amazon paid for CDL school training and the new co will pay $14/hr while you train, but you have to pay that amount back if you get fired ? right ? If I understand correctly, that's what you would pay back, the $14/hr

No. They state the whole cost of training.

Instead of looking for the most profitable/cheapest/fastest way to get a CDL shouldn't you be looking at job that best meets what you need? If your friend said he was getting married would you want him to spend all of his time getting the best deal on a wedding ceremony or finding the right person? Focus on what is important and then make steps to make that happen. Find the job and THEN decide about CDL training. Some companies have their own school. Some companies only hire newbies from certain schools or schools with certain details. CDL school is 3 weeks. A good job is AT LEAST one year. Is it more important to have a good 3 weeks or a good year? If you can't have both, would you prefer a smooth 3 weeks or a smooth year?

You wouldn't start walking and later decide where you were going. Decide where you are going and then start walking.

I was looking for a job first and foremost.. My training is already paid for from Amazon where I currently work. It sucks so I can imagine that company with amazon owned trucks will be about the same.

I went and looked into central transports dock to driver gig which would allow me to use my paid training. I don't need theirs.

There are thousands of trucking companies. Do you know any drivers that are very happy where they work? That's how I recommend finding a good trucking job, not just picking among the 2 easiest choices you can pick today.

Have no intentions of driving for them either. The job is dock worker. Loading and unloading with an option after 90 days to get into their program. My classes start on the 18th of this month paid in full
