17 Class A drivers got hired by Unimark truck transport and all 17 left doing the job! why? bcoz this company UNIMARK financially raped the drivers by leaving them stranded in various part of the country. Payroll never paid what they promised and recruiters are shocked!

They will ask you to lie about hours and break the TXDOT rules to deliver the truck. Please fellow truckers, new comers to trucking, please stay the hell far away from UNIMARK. Payroll Jan will hangup ur phone call if you enquire about your statement. What a terrible American company!

UNIMARK TRUCK TRANSPORT STINKS! pAYROLL DEPT STINKS!

You will find a wealth of information concerning Dennis Troha's JHT Holdings and the driveaway companies operated by same. It's quite an operation.

For those who have had any dealings with unimark truck transport, you may want to consult with the IRS and or a good CPA for the following reason: when Unimark tells you "they are buying the fuel" consider this, 1) they are loading money onto a comdata card that is in Unimarks name, however they have linked your name to it, 2) this will give the appearance that the money is being "advanced" to you, 3) the actual cost of fuel will show up as a reimbursement to you as if you had originally purchased the fuel, 4) you must turn in the original receipt to unimark or you will be paying for it, 5) the "reimbursement" for the fuel will be put on the 1099 as income to you. Now the best part, you may not legally deduct the fuel from your taxes since the receipts are in Unimarks name, if you do and get caught your are committing the fraud. In addition anything you submit to Unimark must be the "original" receipt to be reimbursed, but once again all reimbursements will show up as income to you. Could it be Unimark is taking the deduction at both ends? i.e. 1099 to you and taking off their taxes? So far the opinion of two CPA's, one retired IRS officer and one active IRS officer is , very likely. So if you have or are currently working for Unimark you are definitely encouraged to bring this up with the IRS, and make inquiry, especially when the current officer said, and I quote, " are they open for business, 'cuz this looks like fraud."

Why do they NEED a receipt?
Thats so old school the scales are falling off that dinosaur!

ComData supplies all of this to them.
All they have to do is sign on to the internet, hit the Comdata link on IE then sign in and vola all they ever need to know about every transaction made on every card in their name or in their account!

Yeppers sounds like a BFI to me!! My advice is to copy the receipt then send these BFI's their copy! Then RUN!

Wow,what kind of devious minds do these companies have? They must have some crooked CPA's on their team.

Maybe if the drivers agree to pay the company .85 a mile for the privilege of working for them at least the companies will be happy!
