Finally got my CDL, suggestions for a job in Detriot?

Plenty of auto parts haulers. I think most though are 6 months experience?
Do you have a passport and willing to go to Canada?

OK, then you're good for any company. The reason I asked is because there is no maximum age for trucking, but there are minimum ages.
Apply to all those companies I listed, and if I see anything else I'll let you know.

Pretty sure you can find something off these lists that have what you want. Trimac probably has the best pay and hometime. I remember a year or so ago a new Detroit cdl grad was hired by Trimac for local work.

 

NTB Trucking does a lot of Meijer loads to their distribution centers/warehouses.

 

Detroit tells me B trains for that area. Two or three coil to 150K gross. That should be pretty good work.

Not just a "Job..."

maybe customs related work as well, winsdor is across the river from you. That should be additional oppertunities particulary if you have no felonies, hold a pass port and able to go into Canada. That's very valuable to any trucking outfit that needs canada.
