Hi I'm wondering does anyone know of any companies that are felon friendly. I've looked but the ones I see all want a felony to be at least 5 to 7 years old. The felony was a dumb charge because of a nosy person. I have a family to support but can't find companies to give me a second chance to prove myself.

    Slimmthatrucker Thanks this.

Here's a few that hire felons. Ignore what it says on the websites and apply anyway because some hire right out of prison.
Apply to all of them and take the best offer:
    Western Express
    USA Truck
    Carolina Cargo
    Carolina Logistics
    Florida Beauty Express
    PI&I Motor Express
    TransAm
    Roadtex
    Paschall Truck Lines
    Carolina Southern

All too often, the conditions of employment are determined by the insurance companies that the trucking companies are insured under.

Also, if the trucking companies go into Canada, a truck driver with a felony, (in some cases a misdemeanor), on his or her record, will NOT be allowed entry into Canada, regardless of how old the charge or conviction is.

Good luck to you! God bless you and your family!

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

I have a few felonies and misdemeanors on my record.
You need to get exact dates of charge. What the charge was. No probation or parole or court dates in future.
You need a clean mvr and work history.
You have to be able to TALK. A lot of people with felonies will talk themselves out of a job.

Theft or robbery (unarmed) is ok.
Drug trafficking is one of worse.
    Drug possesion ok sometimes.
