hi all. new here. I am a driver for fedex routes in atlanta, ellenwood. i got a chance to buy some runs from my contractor. I am running one of them now. Its Unassigned run at night. Usually I go south to Florida. The money seems good, and i want to grow a business and own trucks. Anyone that has owned routes for fedex as a contracter that can help me with advice on what to do> thanks

You have a chance to buy a run? Last I check FedEx doesn't accept one man owner op so u need another employee which you have to pay W2. Truck has to be white and I believe 5 years or newer, plus camera and those fancy sensors
JohnBoy Thanks this. -
I really can’t add anything to his question. Just looking at the going price of some routes, I’m thinking a one man band isn’t doing it.

FYI, on YouTube, put in the search bar “FedEx Routes” there’s a company that has a boatload of info pertaining to your questions.

If you have a chance to buy some runs and there are current employees driving there then I’d say it would be a decent investment. If things don’t work out you could always sell the runs again. Just don’t get them taken away.

Your biggest problem will be with drivers, the routes and trucks and such will be the easy part. Drivers are always in a hurry it seems like, that's why FedEx leads with their accident rate against their competition by 3:1.
the last I was told FedEx does not allow single truck operations but I never bothered to ask FedEx.
