    Both city and road drivers at FedEx Freight handle doubles. Road drivers all the time though. They get pay around.50ish a mile plus fixed task pay (hooks, drops, fuels, etc.). What they actually make a week varies depending on their bid routes and service center they are domiciled at.

    Been with FedEx Freight 3 years as a road driver.

    I make 60 cents/mile and 24.00/hr for dock/task pay.

    I have averaged 78k/yr and this year I am on pace to make 86k.

    Our lowest earning road driver will usually out earn our top paid city driver. At least at my center.
