Any of you drivers want to brag about your favorite brand or model of sunglasses? T/S sunglasses may be fine for some but I much prefer a quality pair. I am currently wearing Maui Jim's "mj sport" model sunglasses. They are very lightweight, well-built and are polarized. These sunglasses are very comfortable even after 10 plus hours. They are a bit pricey at around $180 but well worth it in my opinion. I have several other pair of various brands,(Oakley, Ray Ban and the like), at the house but this is the pair that stays in truck.

    Truck Stop.
But they have to be polarized and the lenses must not distort.

Current favorite is Oakley. They fit well and I like the way they look. Dont wear em at work though, too easy to mess em up. Had a pair of Costa del mars several years back that were ok too. main_09-670_radar_polished-black-grey_001_63521_png_hero.jpg

During the day anything polarized that fits well, not picky about the brand. Plus sitting on a pair of 150-200 dollar glasses always pisses me off to no end.

For night or crappy drab times or fog I have a pair of WileyX that are great, cut out glare and brighten and clarify things but when you take them off the whole world looks monochrome for a bit. Seem to remember I forked out about a hundred bucks for them years ago for riding. So far they've outlasted both the wife and the bike.

I have those Oakley's, replaced the nose bridge rubber piece twice, and just replaced the rubber pieces that go over the ears. I hope these last for a few more years. My son used to wear gas station sunglasses, bought him Oakley's for his birthday 2 years ago. He called me a few weeks afterwards, said he will never buy another pair of cheap sunglasses again. You can't beat a good pair of sunglasses, they are worth every penny you pay for them.

It really sux sitting on your glasses as I've done that with a pair of $200 sunglasses. They were another pair of Maui jims that luckily I had repaired for $60. Just looked up those WileyX night glasses. Think I will order a pair as all these new headlights,(including mine), are so distracting. Price range is running around $60-$70 a pair.
