Highway linking Texas, Oklahoma closed due to fatal crash – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
I passed by this on my way home. The only vehicle left I saw was the FedEx trailer, the frame of the truck and pieces of the cab all over the place. It is sad that this happens so often, not here but just anywhere. Rest in Peace, FedEx driver.

As I was told by a towing company owner I purchased a parts truck from, the trucks are designed now that the cab will break loose from the frame.
He had multiple cabs setting in his back lot, when i commented about how hard of a wreck it must have been he mentioned that they are designed to separate….gentleroger Thanks this. -

The only thing that was left when I passed by was the FedEx truck and trailer. I think but am not sure, that the trailer caught something the FedEx driver was trying to avoid, swung the truck to the left against whatever that object was, and maybe bounced back and forth and then came to rest with the cab off the frame in the right median. Watching the news videos, the truck frame was still under the trailer and was pulled away from the trailer with a wrecker. I could not nor do I want to imagine what went through either of the drivers minds who were involved. I feel for anybody that's ever been in a crash like this.
