Either one will work fine. Which one is cheaper? Airdog and fass are competitors one is owned by a father, the other owned by the son. There's been lots of legal trouble and court battles between them. Both products are good..

I would prefer airdog. This is for pickups not sure how big trucks work. The FASS replaces the factory fuel pump where as the airdog is just an additional pump so if the factory goes out the airdog will still run it and if the airdog goes out the factory can still run.

I have a FASS on my C15 Acert. I am happy with it.

I saw FASS on Volvo FH12. stock fuel pump was disabled, but there was one problem with Volvo. It is related with ECM cooling. stock pump "sucks" fuel through ECM cooling plate, so it is designed for negative pressure. FASS is the electric pump with good output, pressure is limited with engine fuel pressure limiting valve, and it is 4 BAR calibrated on D12 engine so if you install FASS before ECM it will damage ECM... easily) I used to fix some ECMs. Some were junk.

I talked to the "Dad" company at MATS last year. He was quite informative. Told him I had a light on the dash of my Century Class that said "Fuel Prorater" or something like that. Told me that was his system.

Not meaning to hijack your thread, but anyone use the Turbo 300D?

What is the main difference between the two? I'm also looking to buy one, but I can't decide. Air Dog is better choice for regular pick up trucks, at last that's what they voting for on other forums, can't find much for big trucks. Air Dog is also more expensive, for C15 it cost around 1,600 + for 260GHP, FASS system is much cheaper, something around 850 + fuel line kit.

I have not called either company to find out what is the real difference between two if any, can someone here let us know... Thanks.
