Heard there was alot of finger printing. I looked at them a year ago. They had a 5000 sign on bonus then now it is up to 7500. Like i said just looking for the real facts.

Never did Family Dollar, but Schneider is great with their dedicated division. Good pay and great home time. That being said, I wouldn't work on any account with "dollar" in the name, not because of Schneider, but because of the company, I heard they are a pain.
lmcclure1220 Thanks this. -
Had a friend that did a Dollar General dedicated for a carrier and he said they were a pain.

Did family dollar thru Werner. Unloading 3500 items by hand using crappy rollers will kick your butt. They use 1930's technology to unload. Turnover on these accounts is very high. Home time was good, pay is ~55k if you can stay with it, and unload 3 trailers a week. Like most trucking jobs, your happiness is greatly dependent on your dispatchers. Also, the people at the stores are a pain as well. You think dealing with the distribution center guys is bad? You haven't seen anything yet. Flatbed was a piece of cake compared to this stuff. No lie.
You think truck stops are ghetto? Wait till you see where the Family Dollars are located in the cities. And you will have to sleep there to make your deliveries the next day.
Good luckdrvrtech77 Thanks this. -
