Falsifying dot driving logs by boss

    Hey I recently just quit my new expediting job after 1 week and a half.
    Because my boss kept resetting my logs his self after every 10 to 11 hours of driving so that I could keep driving.
    He knew how to make it look like we haven't been driving all day to continue driving.
    I was driving 15 to almost 24 hrs at a time some nights and mornings.
    And I couldn't take it anymore. I quit.

    No sleep at all. 2 hrs maybe if I'm lucky .
    And he refused to get me a room. Told me to park and sleep in my truck night after night and I had no sleeper inside my truck.

    I had to quit bc I have a family and I felt my health and well being was being jeopardize by him and this company.

    Now I'm out of work. Bc of it.
    What should I do about this situation?

    REPORT his activity any way you can. AND jump that sinking ship.

    As a whistle blower you stand to get 10%. If this becomes public there is a possibility you will have to find another part of trucking.

    Do not accept for one minute the games your Boss is playing. If you have gone say 20 hours and... 1000 miles to kill a family with that truck because those logs were fiddled with your consent? You go to prison for life. Is it worth it? NO.

    The days of loose leaf are finish or nearly so. I am of that generation and will die one. However I have grown to tolerate the ELD as it stands today, with some problems towards it versus some human needs of most all drivers. We are not robots.

    That will come in time Robots to kick and abuse from the company boss computer. I wont be around for that.
