F/X Freight Exchange is a rip-off
They suck you in hook line and sinker. then once you sign their contract It's
all over but the crying. You don't get fuel surcharge only on loads out of El Paso and you pay 90.00 a wk for trailer fees., There is no 80 percent of load like they say cause you might get .90 a mile and you pay processing fees, plates, fuel tax, and permits and 1.85 for fuel card trans. And pay them 200 just to hire you on. Not to mention the 125. for physical and drug test. Or the 2500. escrow that you might not see again. They are not on the up front level.

Did you not read read the contract? Im pretty sure it stated all of the charges. If not get a lawyer and get the money they you. A lot of guys hear/read only the good in contracts but dont pay as much attention to the chargebacks.
-
You read the contract after you sign it because they are in a hurry and its an inch thick. I read it three days later when i had time. But that does not justify not getting paid what they say after you hire on Im paying them to haul their freight
-
No you slow down and read the contract before you sign.
Everybody gets in a rush and then gets mad when they realize that on those loan papers you signed you're paying 20% interest.
You find out they charge you x amount for card use, late paperwork fee etc...
Nobody's fault but you for not reading before signing..kidnkorner, Rick_C and roaddawg92 Thank this. -
Well this experience was a waste of my time and they lost a another driver. I am moving on elsewhere. Buy the way if they paid out like they advertise there might not been a problem.
-
Read BEFORE you sign...........
kidnkorner Thanks this. -
This my friend is an endless argument. They did pay you what they said. Then they charged back all these services they offer like fuelcard use, tags, insurance ect. The thing here is, like hundreds more just like you got suckered in with big promises and little action. Your on here crying about not getting paid and then say it took you "three days" to read an agreement that you signed. Now your gonna pay a {stupid tax) when they come after you in court and say you owe them some money. I hope that doesnt happen to you but it very well might. People like you make stupid decisions like this then cry about it when you realized you should have known by reading it before you you signed the inch thick contract.(Stupid Tax____ Is when you do something like "sign a legal document before reading it, that spells out the contract" and when you realize its not going your way you have to pay a price to get out of it.
Mtn Gal Thanks this. -
Let me say this I dont mind the charges but they were to pay 80 percent of the load How in the world do i know that I am getting that when they say ok its paying 600 miles thats 700 bucks to the trk. That to me is paying by mile not percent of load Your pay check only shows what u got and their deductions.. No gross of load and your percent of the load. So I am being paid on a lower scale and it does not justify paying 90.00 a wk for their trl.
When other companies pay by mile with no trl fees or permit fee. Also they pay fuel surcharge and FX say they pay fuel surcharge but only on loads coming out of El Paso I dont get to El Paso. But they changed their story when you get out there not up front to your face. Would you want to work here.AfroBat Thanks this. -
The .80 % pay package is old, they are now on a fixed pay package. I did read the contract and it was not 3 inches thick. It took me 1 hour to read it twice. I clear about $1300 - $1600 a week so I can't complaint.
buckmanmike and roaddawg92 Thank this. -
I realise this is an old thread but I must add my two cents, I do not know how good they are but my antenna went straight up after I asked the recruiter to send me a copy of the contract before I jump the good ship USS Dart and she would not send it to me. I don't play that!!! So I'm looking into another carrier. They seem to have much of what I want except honesty. Even before I signed up with Dart they provided a copy of the contract and I was able to allow a contract specialist check it out, so what's up with these FX guys? She told me I could look at it after orientation???? Hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!
I spoke to one of the drivers for FX and he said he was always looking for better pay and he would leave as soon as he found it.
And so I'll keep looking...
