Anybody drive for or know of somebody driving for Fraley and Schilling out of Rushville, IN. Are they a good flat bed company? Any info on them appreciated.

I am currently a new driver with them out of the Baltimore terminal. I have been to the Brilliant, OH and Rushville,IN terminals. In my opinion they are a great company to work with. Everything they promised me before I came on has been given to me or has come true. My dispatcher is cool as well as my recruiter. I have not met a driver in the company yet that will not help another driver or has a bad attitude toward the company. I'm not saying they are not out there, but in my short 3 months there so far, everyone seems to like the company. They keep us loaded and rolling and making the money. They pay you loaded or unloaded miles. So if they bounce you 100 miles, you are still getting paid the same rate as if you were loaded. I am home every weekend, or you can stay out I believe. They don't rush you into anything, and they want you to be safe.

I was thinking about going with them too, but I saw they had e-logs. From what I've read elsewhere though they are towards the upper end of the decent companies. Maybe top 1/3 or so?
-
we do have e-logs, easy as hell to use and it keeps us legal. we have prepass and e-z-pass in the trucks. and as long as we keep our good safety rating, d.o.t don't mess with us too much.

Hey thumper, how much room do they have in the trucks? The ones I saw on the website looked like a mix of 70" and 42" sleepers? Not sure if I could do OTR on a less then 65" sleeper anymore, gotta have room for my widescreen ya know.

not much room....twin bed size...no storage except for under the bunk...they will take out the pass seat for you and that is more room. mine is out and i use that whole corner.
cuttman Thanks this. -
