12.7 Detroit with 800k on it, started smoking today like a freight train out the stack.
Oil is a fresh change with air and oil filter, oil and coolant normal. Checked the engine area and the only thing I can find is a small amount of oil leaking between the turbo and the flange.
No loss of any power and fuel filter is fine.
Any thoughts?

I would inspect the turbo first. Pull off air cleaner tubing off front of turbo and inspect. Also pull off exhaust clamp off back of turbo and inspect. Oil seal could have gone on turbo shaft and started pumping oil into exhaust or worse.....pumping oil into intake.
-
X2 for a blown turbo, it will be leaking out of the bearing on shaft spitting oil into the exhaust housing.
-
If you find any signs of oil in the intake, pull the CAC and flush it out, you don't need it running away on you after you fix it.

i would still pull boot off of cool side of turbo and make sure there is no oil over there.....you dont want to take a chance of pumping oil into intake and have it run away on you. Oil out exhaust just smokey....keep up with oil level until you get it to the shop.
