Making so much money with 9+ mpg truck I had to spend some money on it and really want to see what is out there at night alot better.

Got tired of running at night when there is no traffic and not being able see what is up ahead very far away and especially out west where there is not much light around at night.

Purchased these LED Lights off of E-Bay and mounted them to top of Visor with a 1/8" x 2" x 2" x 48" long aluminum angle I purchased from Lowes.

    40" long 240 watts
    80 - 3 watt LED lights 12 volts @ 16 amps
    14,400 Lumens

This is like giving a company driver an ungoverned truck. These lights would only need to be used when there is no traffic on the road or you would definately blind somebody and could attract law enforcement for a safe driving award.

I would suggest you contact Law enforcement... you are only allowed so many lights on a vehicle and they might consider these type of lights as for off road only.

If I came around a blind curve and had them hit me in my eyes,, could be blinding..

That would be great for two lane trucking in the boonies where deer are active.

They are off road lights and they are like an ungoverned truck that needs to be used responsibly or it could attract a safe driving award from law enforcement.

That is why I got them...I was out west a couple of weeks ago in WY, SD and ID, it was really dark on those back roads and I want to be able to see the big critters that hopefully the lights will scare them off.

I was thinking about putting 2 spotlights on my truck so that i can see deer or moose on those back Maine roads.

Thought about doing something like that.
But like CC posted, I'd check the Legality of it.
Seems like it might not be legal.

There is alot of jeeps and 4X4s that have them on their trucks.....

Plus I am going to see what they tell me if I am stopped for them. If I use them responsibly, they should never attract attention from the law.

I seen them on 4x4s that got me interested. My fog lights that came on truck sucked and decided to get rid of those and replace with these LEDs where I can see alot better at night with. Even plugged in through a relay that my fog light controls them only on high beams. I can turn them on and off with switch and they only work when headlights are on high beams with fog light switch on.
