Experiences with First Advantage background check?

You should try a BGC from the Federal Government. When I went overseas my BGC took 2 months.

 

My experiences with the few companies that have performed a background check since I got my cdl about 3 weeks ago have been a strait up **JOKE**. Everything from companies needing prior employers to fill out pages and pages of questionnaires about the most retarded and petty things about my job, to companies offering the job without even verifying employment, (as if any profit geared business has a exec or hr person to fill out questionnaires for a person that is no longer a asset to the company)! It is quite a crap chute how a company will perform this function much less what kind of extremely trivial documentation they will need from your prior employer. I can answer this first hand because I have a great friendship with my previous employer, he is the president of the company with no HR dept. We are on such good terms that he calls me every time he gets a inquiry and usually we laugh our @##s off at the charade of it. Waist of both companies valuable time and $$$.
