    Mid128pid173fmi5,2,0 going active and inactive, Pyro temperature between 600&1000.will this prevent my regen to work?.pls help

    What year is the truck and how many miles? Have the doc and dpf ever been cleaned? Is it regen'ing normally? Hows the power? Is it boosting normally?


    Honestly your best bet is take it to a shop and hook it to Vcads and get a proper diagnostic done. I

    The high exhaust temp HET will come in to warn you not to park over an area that could catch fire or over flamable materials. Such as dry grass etc. This is because the regen is very hot. The HET will usually go off. If it happens when I am about to park I will park and idle the engine up a bit until self reden is completed.

    Problem solved, exhaust temperature sensor #1replaced,under warranty. 1 wire in a harness broken, replaced. Temperature ok now. Volvo dealer in Carbondale Illinois is great. Definitely first volvo shop that didn't wanna #### me around. Maybe becausethey are bit off the highway. Kudos tech Steve. Not like mother####ing volvo laredo tx
