Hi, my exhaust system goes like this: turbo / 2' straight pipe / 2' flexible pipe /
5' straight pipe / 2' flexible pipe / 90° elbow etc until it reaches the muffler. You get the idea, it looks like mess.
My question is: would it be a good idea to put all straight pipes all the way from turbo to muffler, or flexible pipes are the only way to do it because of slight curves and adjustments to these elbows. Since I bougt the truck my exhaust system always looked like this, every few years some flexi pipe goes bad because of rust and I have to replace it, it's pretty annoying.
One more thing, the only pipes I found on amazon are the ones that are completely straight (they don't have female-male expansion at the end), can I connect those with straight clamps (the ones without ridge) or they can't go gay , they have to be female/male due to leaks?

No! you need the flex pipe for the expansion as the pipes heat and cool. If you put all straight pipes on you WILL crack your turbo or exhaust manifold.

Not only that , but the engine is mounted on the frame, most mufflers are cab mounted. With air ride cabs moving up and down you need that flex.

I agree, but be sure to get stainless flex tubing, and that ain't cheap. No need for an adapter, the flex is a bit larger to fit over the pipe.
