Examinetics is an Occupational Health Specialty company. We perform testing on site at different types of companies; power plants, mines, foundries, etc. We perform OSHA/MSHA required testing for these companies on site to save them time and money.

Drivers will be hauling a 53' trailer converted into a medical office. You will also be trained in performing one of the specialty examinations. Units do have a bathroom on board, since we have a medical assistant that performs urinalysis.

    "Typical" Week would include:

    1. Prepare the mobile unit for the next job site, empty sewage and fill water tank. Top off generator fuel tank.
    2. Move the unit to the next job site, unhook and setup unit. Must have good backing skills, wheels are fixed.
    3. Join the rest of the crew on the unit to perform exams during testing times.

Drivers are typically trained to perform audio tests, although most of them learn to perform other functions so they can work at sites with no audio exams. They also learn to take standard vital signs, perform lung function tests, respiratory mask fit tests, vision, and reception duties.

    4. When the contract is finished, you will breakdown the unit, and move it on to the next site.

You will be given hotel accommodations every night, even while transporting the unit. At no time are you expected to sleep in your truck.

Position is hourly. You will run 4 weeks, then get 1 week off while a relief driver takes over. Company covers travel to and from home, travel time is on the clock. You will be paid OT after 40 hours.

A typical shift day is 12 hours long, paid for 11. 1 hour setup, 4 hours testing, 1 hour lunch, 4 hours testing, 2 hours end of day breakdown. Test times can be at any time, day or night, please be someone that can handle switching to a night shift. Work week is Mon-Fri, you may have to travel during the weekend but usually we have weekends off. All jobs are scheduled around DOT HOS laws to keep you in compliance.

Be comfortable with blood and needles. You won't be poking people, but this isn't a job for someone that can get faint seeing others getting poked.

There is a moderate level of physicality with the job, due to unit set up. However, this is a great job if you want a change from driving straight 11s for 6 days then resetting.

I am NOT a company recruiter. I am actually a medical tech that just happens to have a CDL who is covering for my unit while we look to hire a new driver.
