I drove for almost 2 1/2 for a large flatbed carrier (Black and Chrome) that paid percentage. It took me a while to discover that a company that paid by the mile was a better deal for the driver. I moved to Evergreen Industries and after a full year I have nothing but good tings to say about them. They are a stable company, conservative, family oriented but most important to me they are small. They notice my work and I was not getting that at my other company. My home time is MUCH better and my wife is a lot easier to live with considering the compensation makes it worth being out there. I wish I had seen the difference between percentage pay and mileage pay when I started driving. Anyway, they are a good fit for me.
Evergreen Industries proved a good fit.
