Ever hear of Transforce?

Transforce is Canada's largest trucking company. They operate though through several divisions with different names (around Calgary it is Canadian Freightways). A lot of the large Canadian firms operate this way as they grow through acquistions and decided to keep the original name for brand purposes I suppose.

I don't know much about them myself but always got the impression that they are more of a starter company but I really don't know.

Transforce is a temp agency. I have worked for a couple like them. Nothing wrong with them. Ive worked with a sister company to them called Prodrivers. They kept me pretty busy till I found a job that worked for me. It opens doors for drivers to find what they like.

 

Go up to the top left part of the screen and type in the search window "Transforce", and you will find the information that you are looking for.

 

I know that up in MI, you have to go thru these guys to get on with Penske. If a company like Penske uses them, they can't be all bad.

 

Penske just leases to different companys for dedicated runs. Out here on the west Coast I am familiar with some team runs they have hauling Minolta copiers. But it is not a premium job any more than a good dedicated with any other large outfit.
