I don't know where this should be posted so I'll try it here. I keep seeing really decent jobs pop up through this company Transforce. Its not a trucking company but a supplier of driver to companies that need driver, kinda like an employment agency for drivers. Ever hear of these guys? Any info on them in a good or bad way? I see decent jobs pop up through these guys from time to time. Thanks for any help, any info.
Ever hear of Transforce?

Transforce is Canada's largest trucking company. They operate though through several divisions with different names (around Calgary it is Canadian Freightways). A lot of the large Canadian firms operate this way as they grow through acquistions and decided to keep the original name for brand purposes I suppose.
I don't know much about them myself but always got the impression that they are more of a starter company but I really don't know. -
Thanks for the info, but I'm not sure we are talking about the same company. We might be, but here is the link to their website http://www.transforce.com/ Is this the same company we are both thinking of? Thanks again.

No we are not. Disregard what I have said.
FlorabamaTrigger Thanks this. -
Ok, thanks for trying to help anyway. I can't figure out the angle of this company, what the deal is. Hopefully someone has info on them.

Transforce is a temp agency. I have worked for a couple like them. Nothing wrong with them. Ive worked with a sister company to them called Prodrivers. They kept me pretty busy till I found a job that worked for me. It opens doors for drivers to find what they like.

Thanks guys, not much in the search, just a really bad thread. One thread does not make a consensus. mitrucker, what exactly does that mean? Is Penske a really good company to work for? Isn't Penske just a truck leasing company, why do they even need drivers? I'm just not understanding their business I guess. Thanks again for the help guys.

Penske just leases to different companys for dedicated runs. Out here on the west Coast I am familiar with some team runs they have hauling Minolta copiers. But it is not a premium job any more than a good dedicated with any other large outfit.
