hey fellas,
I know a couple guys who run into Canada as part of their regular delivery routine. I was curious to know if anyone knows of people that make runs into Mexico on the regular? I would like to run down there every now and then for a change of scenery but haven’t met anyone who does it.
Ever brought your truck to Mexico?

No thanks. I like living too much. I use to go down there every year or two, but I just don't like it any more, and I wouldn't take my family there for any reason. The cartels run the country.

I’m seriously thinking about a day trip to ciudad Juárez. But not gonna stay overnight or stray from the city.

Its not worth your life or the stuff in it. Besides the trucks do not have armor. SO it's not worth it.
Ive been at the border in a few towns maybe a little bit over here and there off road but am just as happy to be away from there. Nogales in particular.
Its a shame. Mexico has some good food and quite good people as do the Canadians and so on. But frankly what with the cartels and this clueless dumb american who has many riches to pluck? nope not for me.
They need to eradicate the cartels and all evil before i think about going. I miss some of their food. Taco bell does not cut it.truckdriver31, Flat Earth Trucker and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
Some of the best food I ever had where in a hole in the wall places. Might need to find these places in your area not the cleanest but some of the best.D.Tibbitt, truckdriver31 and x1Heavy Thank this. -
Not that hard to find in west Texas, harder to find chicken.
D.Tibbitt, truckdriver31 and x1Heavy Thank this. -
Well thanks for affirming what the first and second posters said. Was hoping for good news, but thanks for the real yet unfortunate truth of the situation. I definitely don’t want to die just for a little trip south of the border. Hopefully in some time things can return to the way they once were and we can enjoy Mexico once again.
Midwest Trucker, D.Tibbitt and truckdriver31 Thank this.
