So I’m driving empty with Reefer trailer , should I be worried about wind flipping me ? Winds are around 20 mph in this area .

that rush and the heart stopping feeling of the wheel jerking out of ur hand tho. always happens when day dreaming on a windy day. just watch the over passes and high points on the roads. drive with caution and ride on

No. It takes more than that to flip you over. You’ll be fine with 20mph winds

Realistically you don't have to worry much until they get 40-50 mph with an empty trailer, even though a 30 hitting you broad side when you're not expecting it can make the back side pucker up. I got hit with a dust devil a couple weeks ago. Saw it coming on an otherwise windless day and it crossed the highway and hit me as I passed it. I slowed down ahead of time, but I watched my empty trailer rear up a bit. Had I been going 70+ mph, things might have been different.

Personally, if ever I do return to the open road. A conestoga trailer is for me. Its a van when loaded or a skateboard when empty. I could haul both loads. Tho the soft sides arent ridgid like a metal can.

I do believe that 90% of the conestoga’s are supposed to be run in the closed(van) position all the time weather loaded or empty.
