Ruffly 10,000 lbs. Trailer tandems on an empty trailer are about 7500 lbs.

Maybe this will help you.
My reefer is 15200 full of fuel (when brand new).
Knock off about 1700 pounds for the unit (from carrier website), 75 gallons of fuel (500), down to 13000, then whatever you figure the weight of insulation compared to what your walls roof and floor might weigh for a dry van, as well as fuel tank, lines, etc. I'd guess you are somewhere in the 10-12 range for a dry box.ibcalm19 Thanks this. -
I haul dry van. I know my bobtail is 18900. I know my dry weight with the empty trailer is about 34,750.
34750-18900=15850 for the empty trailer. -

I know this because My state requires a empty scale ticket in order to register a trailer. -
