    Is the EGR Valve supposed to be open when the truck is off Also Getting code S p n 3598 fmi 4 The truck will not regenerate I have the Orange check engine light actually both of them And DPF Orange also not blinking though Can somebody help me solve this problem please

    You may find the diagnostic steps for the fault helpful. Attached PDF is for EPA10 or GHG14 engine. If your truck is EPA07 then it is slightly different and I can get you that fault tree if needed.

    On the dash its saying 10 % derrate and 25 % derate what does it mean

    10% derate or 25% derate is simply reducing the horsepower your engine will put out. This is a inducement for you to get your truck fixed. Also, can serve as a warning before your ECM cuts the vehicles maximum speed to 5 mph with some faults. Here is the diagnostics steps for SPN 3480 FMI 1.

    Found the issue which is the proportional valve bank 2 but can't find any pictures and images in finding where it's located on my truck any info on this

    The diagnostic steps for SPN 3598 FMI 4 requires a lot of careful steps to testing and monitoring with DiagnosticLink. This is something that should be done at a reputable Detroit diesel shop. I don't think a truck owner is going to do this on their own unless they have invested significantly in diagnostic tools and willing to invest the time & effort to go up the learning curve on their engine. Youtuber "Carlos' Diesel Electric" has a video on some his diagnostic tools and manuals, but the wisdom to apply all that information to do good diagnostics comes from a lot of experience and hard work.
