EGR.....Delete?

    I have been told, (By someone who know's someone's friend who is a buddy of this guy), that I can get rid of all the hardware of the EGR system, and have just a straight through exhaust by fooling the computer with new downloadable software to make the computer think all is ok, .....I reckon this may be illegal in some states and provinces, so I would not be interested in doing it on my 09 D13 VNL 780, But, just for arguments sake, if I knew someone who knew someone else who may be interested with any advice in this subject, I am sure they would be grateful.

    09 cummins EGR is not the weakest thing. Check DPF too))) LOL

    really the only way to delete EGR system from D13 is to use EU Euro3 calibration. but you have to change muffler, turbo, remove EGR, and other emission stuff. It is not so easy and not cheap, and not legal
