Gonna add a pto to my truck and while doing so, I’m gonna change the oil in my transmission. Looking for the capacity of a 10 speed OD.

Fill it until it comes out the fill hole, about 3 gallons-give or take.

Get a five gallon bucket and you'll have a little left over after the PTO is installed to top off your diffs or steer hubs

He is right with older eatons. 80/90 fine. Have had a few customers run it. Really warm up is more important. Let it get flowing. But yearly drains.
Idk I'm happy with 50w synthetic in a Rtlo and no PTO.
Still have half a barrel of 85w/140 Hydrotex that some heavy haulers swear by for trailer hubs and rear diffs. They were not looking for fuel milage.mile marker 27 Thanks this. -
As you are adding a pto, after you fill it, go for a short drive, this give the air in the cooler lines a chance to get worked out. Then park for a spell with everything off and check and top off transmission again.
