If you eat the truck stop food, you can't over indulge. You only eat enough to take the hunger pain away. If you eat too much, your energy will dip. I have a plant based. Lpw sodium diet now. The meat I use is mainly chicken but in lower doses than in the past. I have fresh veggies in my fridge, and I also have other veggies in cans....spinach, beans of different kinds, corn, green beans, etc. All of those you can heat up in the microwave. The more fiber you eat, the better your energy will be. I've become a better driver since making this switch, that's not to say that I don't have cheat days here and there, but mostly veggies, chicken, tuna ot peanut butter sandwiches makes up my diet

I use a cuisimax hotplate off a 1500 watt inverter with a 7 inch pan and lid. This brand is non magnetic and does not produce radiation so you can use induction or non induction cookware. Behind my passenger seat I use a 12 volt water pump that is 100 watts off the power supply "cigg lighter and pull water from a 5 gallon water reservoir under my sleeper bunk. I open the passenger window and set it up on a foldable table then after cooling the pan use antibacterial soap and spray it out with the pump sprayer. You can transfer hot water from a 2 gallon wine warmer or pull directly from it but dont get the water too hot. Maybe this could help other drivers. God Bless. ZBRA.

My wife, cooks meals and put some in Ziploc bags And off into the freezer they go. When I want to eat them I just put them in a microwave. in the fridge, everything from cheese for crackers, yogurts, hummus, sandwich wraps, what ever your heart desires. I got a 700 W toaster so I can toast up some English muffins or bagels, throw some ham and cheese and make some breakfast sandwiches. I keep a supply of canned veggies, nuts, microwavable, rice, microwavable noodles, microwavable tortellini from Aldi, precooked bacon, and other things once I go through my frozen fresh section. I usually have enough food to eat like a king for about 10 days. I’ll hit up a Dollar General somewhere pick up some more items and that usually holds me over for about five more days and I’ll be home by then. The key is having fridge freezer, microwave, roster, water pot, etc. I clean all my dishes with wet wipes.
I live a life of luxury out on the road compared to how I did in Helmand.77fib77, Big Road Skateboard and Michelle33 Thank this. -
