Order the regular cheese burger or double cheeses burger. $1.89, or $2.49 I think.
Than add additional 1:9 patties for about .79 or so each. You can get a big burger for cheap like $4.00 ball park.
If you fuel at loves a lot they offer the best points for fuel right now with there points levels. So that is a bonus.
Eating cheap at Hardees, or Carls.

Pay $5 for a $2 hamburger is not eating cheap
-
No try about 6 paties in all. That's not tiny. When a regular quarter pound burger is almost $5 Any where you go.
-
You can add $20,000 to that cost for stents in a couple of years. All that hamburger grease tends to plug things up.

As the saying goes... “You live by the hamburger, you die by the hamburger.” Lol -
Honestly my thinking is if truck stops gave a #### they would offer fresh produce, and a choice of fresh meat. And stop only selling items that plug into a 12v outlet. Further thought is there would be a planet fitness on site at every truck stop. I am a big guy. I would like more options.
An otr truck should have a standup fridge with near regular size freezer so you can fit more than 3 days of fresh food in the fridge. And could have meat on hand to grill, or put in a crock. -
When I was eating Stouffer’s, it would hold about 7 days worth of those too.
The fridge part is way bigger than I need. I only keep milk, orange juice and apples. -
