If you have a driver's seat that leaks itself down as you drive, you will know how annoying this is. It's kind of like Chinese water torture, not serious enough to remember after you park the truck at the end of the day, until you go again the next. Mine had gotten worse over the last couple of years, inquired once at WS dealer, was told "not even sure we can get that valve by itself". So I just left it, but lately it was having to be aired back up almost every mile. So I got mad enough to finally deal with it. Took all of 10 minutes. Removed the 2 air lines from the up-down switch, popped it out, popped the side cover off the switch revealing 2 small rubber seals. Took a dental pick and popped out the seals, turned them over, put it back together. End of problem. What a treat! One of those little things we take for granted. I realize yours may not be the same setup, but if need be I can post a pic or 2, and seat type.

It cant be that easy to fix can it?
The truck I am in now, 95 Ford L8000, the switch also leaks when I first get in but after the cab warms up (takes a bit of time to do so) it seams ok till the next morning.

My switch also has a lumbar support switch wonder if they an be swapped? If it ever gets above 25*f I may look into it.
Also have a few bulbs that need replacing but I know the lenses will break how cold it has been here.
    Thanks

Well, this one was, but they aren't necessarily all the same. Mine has the lumbar as well as 3 or 4 others that I don't use, and I tried swapping for one of them, but trouble is all the rest are designed to apply a reduced pressure so you don't explode your lumbar bellows. The seat lifter has a plug in the hole that all the others let the extra pressure out through, so that it can send full pressure to the seat air bag. Yeah, I heard a lot of the states out that way are getting an arctic blast you're not used to.

You know I had the exact same problem. I thought, but never confirmed, that the air bag was the culprit. I lived with it for a while until like yours it was so bad it would be back on the floor after 3 or 4 miles. My solution was to swap the passenger seat over to the drivers side. Drivers seat was old, worn out anyways. Passenger seat was an exact match, same controls, only it hadn't had someone sitting in it for most of the previous 1.2 million miles and was practically brand new.

I would've done that too, but the passenger seat had the same problem, was always down as low as it would go. The other reason it wouldn't work, was that the single arm rest was on the wrong side. (Hows that new trailer BTW? Pretty nice I'm guessin.)

Some of the toggle switches stick a bit and leak down. You have to find sweet spot for switch
    Typical of freight liner junk
