I almost have 12 months OTR driving experience in both Double Condo, Single Condo and Day Cab tractors moving van trailers. I recently talked with a recruiter who said they would hire me but only after I hit the 12 month mark. That is a hard rule for them. When finishing the conversation he said don't get in any accidents and whatever you do don't drive a dump truck. If you drive a dump truck we won't hire you.
What gives with dump trucks?

The goal should be to work for a company that doesn't have recruiters .........

Dunno what your recruiter has been putting in his coffee, but I am a dump driver at the moment, and am eligible to drive for about anyone.
Maybe.....they are asking for combination vehicle experience? -
Big Don Thanks this.

What Rik said. Besides which, there are only two types of end dump trailers. The ones that have been on their sides, and the ones that will be on their sides!
okiedokie Thanks this. -
I belong to the tip the tub club. Like Big Don said. You have or you are going to. Whatever you do don't drive a log truck for god sake.
