Hi all,
Im a 40 year old guy who is looking to change careers and really want to try driving.
Ive been a nurse for 23 years and am keen to have a job where im by myself !!!
Ive got a clean license, an LR license, impeccable work history, 2 degrees,
can work day and late shifts, every other weekend, preferably 4 days per week at 8-9 hours per day.
With this criteria in mind what kind of driving jobs are available?
What kind of job should I go for, what am I likely to get ?
Really look forward to your help
thanks

Well I've been there and if your single you sure do not want to leave the city. Especially if you're looking for a wife or girl friend.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Yep perth Australia,
I guess my preferences are my 'dream' preferences that would work around my kids, and they obviously aren't achievable !!
So what are driving jobs hours generally like ?
I don't mind working the hours , but are 8 hour days feasible ?
Is there much scope for casual drivers........say working 3-4 days a week when needed ? -
I'm gonna assume that, like myself, most Americans don't know a lot about the trucking industry in Aus. This may be a question best answered by @Ozdriver
