We're sitting here halfway through a regen and the guy wants us to move so I'm wondering if that would hurt the engine or tranny or anything if we just started to drive.

Most newer trucks regen while driving. Mine says parked regen will almost never be needed, knock on wood, good so far. It also says to drive at minimum 5 mph for 45 minutes or something is also the same as when it calls for a parked regen.

I ignored the flashing light one time because I was late for a pickup. It drove just fine to the pickup and then my truck died right in the middle of their parking lot and would not restart. This regen has been going on for 15 minutes already and the MP is getting pissed at us. These new trucks effing suck. I don't want to take off cuz I'm scared this thing will die at the worst possible moment and we're carrying explosives.

If the light is flashing and you know you be in the road for at least 30 minutes, just go and it will do it while you're driving. This is highway driving, no city stop and go

Carrying explosives and regen problems are causing the truck to die randomly. Enough is enough. This regen crap needs to be outlawed.

If it's shut down lights blinking you need to let it do a parked regen it's to clogged.
    I've had this happen also.
Sometimes a rolling regen ain't good enough I've ignored the light before 2hundred miles still on and way down on mpg.
It will probably be about a 40 minute burn

    I don't haul explosives.

    I own a pre-emissions truck.

    And I didn't thank you.

My job is to haul explosives. I don't have a choice on what truck I drive and the military does not allowed us to drive POS pre emission trucks.
