I don’t care who you work for you need some sort of legal representation.

    I use Drivers Legal Plan.

Commercial Truck Drivers Legal Plan | CDL protection for less than .45 a day

    $150 a year
    $100 a ticket
$250 for DUI/Mansalughter etc (serious charges).

Protect your drivers license and driving record at all costs. It is your meal ticket. Your way of life.

Anything on your record can hurt you from getting a good job. Accidents, moving violations, suspensions, revocations, administrative suspensions.

The better paying companies go back up to 10 years. Some go back 7, some go back 5 and everyone else goes back 3 years.

Always, always, always ask the attorney for a reduction to ZERO POINTS, and a non-moving violation. Even if you have to pay a higher fine or do community service.

Careless, reckless, hit and run, speeding 14+ or over will cost you good jobs.

More than 2 moving violations (4 points) in a 3 year period will cost you good jobs.

The average attorney costs $250 - $400 per ticket for simple moving violations plus court costs and fines.

A reckless can cost you over $1,000 just for their fee plus court costs and fines.

A careless can cost you $400-$700 just for an attorney plus court costs and fines.

Drivers legal pays for itself. Saved my butt a couple times when I started driving commercial (my tickets were in my personal car). Then I learned to quit getting tickets.

But just some advice for you new drivers.

Some states do not amend tickets to lesser violations for truck drivers. Tennessee is one of those states.

There are other companies out there too. I’m happy with Driver’s Legal.

The good thing about it is that you are more or less guaranteed to never need their services as long as you are paying for them. You become ticketproof.

    Bluedew and X-Country Thank this.

    Kinda. It worked for me.
It's like believing that my placing a bet on a sports team can negatively affect their performance. It''s completely irrational but appears to conform with reality.

These plans are nothing more than a sham. Outsourcing service to whoever will represent the case. Doesn't mean they are worth it. Glad it worked out for you.

The attorney legal shield got for my minor speeding ticket was worthless. Told me how it would play out etc etc despite me citing certain details. He delayed court twice but when i wanted to delay the court to hire someone else he ‘needed an answer.’ (To plead) Funny how that works

I’ve heard bad things about Legal Shield but have no personal experience with them.

Been very pleased with Driver’s Legal.
