I don't know anything about this but it seems some rather intelligent people went with Swift.

Well i'm in the process of working with Driver Solutions right now too, and i'm suppose to go to school in Little Rock on the 31st of this month, the school is actually independent from both Driver Solutions and Pam and USA Truck, It's called C1 school, and its where Driver Solutions and these companies that DS recruits for send new hires to obtain CDL's, just apply online at Driver Solutions website if you haven't already, and Driver Solutions will handle the rest.

Just got back from there today...They put a lot on you, and get you ready to get your CDL in 2.5 weeks.

The instructors are super-nice and knowledgeable. The rooms there are not the greatest, and aren't the Hilton, but they will get you on the right track, and if you put forth the effort, you can pass it all the first time within 3 weeks.

The first day you cram all the info in for the permit test. The next day you go for your permit, and the next day you learn how to use log books...From there on out you will drive and study the Pre-trip. Don't slack on anything. It all goes by real fast, and you will get behind if you don't push yourself. Seen a few people wine and complain for having to learn the pre-trip. I tried to help them, and they didn't want to learn it. So I explained to them obviously they didn't wanna drive a truck, because they aren't going to give you a CDL unless you know the pre-trip...

All-in-all I am headed back to AR for orientation for USA-Trucking Monday. I will make good money, and have a good, dependable career. Good luck to all of y'all...

Thats the information I like to hear. So how long did you get after the training to come home. I read you have to do 4 days with USA Truck before you go out with your trainer. After those 4 days do you come home and wait to meet your trainer or go right out after?
