Hello All, I have a 1997 Freightliner Classic, and my driver side low beam and high beam lights are not working, the passenger side works just fine. I have traced the wires I have seen no cut or cracked wires or any wires touching. I was wondering does anyone have a possible solution to the problem it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks and be safe on the Highways, God Bless you all.

Most probable cause for both high and low beams to be out (assuming that the bulbs are good) would be an open ground. If you are missing the ground, the 3 wire plug by the bumper is a common problem area. Give each wire on each side of the plug a good tug to see if any pull out. Check the plug for corrosion.

If it's on the power side, you should have a left and right H/L relay. Make sure those terminals are clean, you can swap them left to right and see if the problem moves with the relay, which will tell you if the relay is bad.

    Trygg Thanks this.
