does it constanstly restrict the dpf? they have had issues with the injectors over fueling causing high soot load.

Get rid of the truck I've had family members that went bankrupt due to their Pete having over 30k worth of repairs on it in less than a year and it happened to my uncle who had a Pete 387 08' with a dpf filter. A 11' model or newer will be a better truck performance, repair, and weight wise. Just sayin....

Px8 is still a cummins motor. If you look up the engine serial number on quickserve I think it will confirm that.

Hey I'm Peter. I bought my truck 09 Pete 335 with the px8 last September ( 2013) and I haven't gotten a month straight of work with it. I bought it from Sheehan's truck sales in Burlington Ontario and the dealer did not help much with all the problems. Constant problems with the dpf to a point of me freezing at night couse I'm scare to run the truck. So far I'm over 13000 in repairs and mobile service calls. I have had all my injectors replaced , new dpf filter with all new sensors gaskets and the whole 9 yards , fuel rail , wiring harness for the dpf and still every few weeks I'm back in the shop with the dpf light on. The truck goes into the regen but doesn't complete it. I'm at a point of buncrupcy and losing my house and everything I got because of that truck. Also every time the truck goes trough a successful regen it runs like #### after words. If you can get rid of it asap before you face the same problems.
