The only test I didn't pass was the doubles/triples test. Passed all the other tests including the Hazmat/tanker but for some reason I just couldn't pass the doubles triples one. I was told that if I failed it 3 times I would need to re-take EVERY TEST again so I figured I better stop instead of risk it. I now have my CDL just minus that endorsement.
Since I already have the license can I go back and take it as many times as I want or will I lose my license if I go back and fail again? I was told its a good idea to have all the endorsements on there but at the time I didn't wanna risk not starting school with the rest of the class.

I dont see why you have retake every single test to add on an endorsement after being commercially licensed. Your best bet is to call up your testing center or look em up online and get a for sure answer.
Brownsfan16 Thanks this. -
will you be pulling doubles or triples?
-
and lastly, who told you that you would have to take all the tests again???
Also, the way I see it??
the tests for endorsements are cheap now (except for hazmat, which you must get finger-printed), and who is to say that some acehole at the state level doesn't say someday, " hey these drivers NEED these endorsements, let's BUMP UP the costs for them to say, what, $100 (or more) EACH"
does anyone NOT want to get all they can get now??? -
I have no idea. Most companies don't seem to mention it in the job description but I figure it would be better to have it than not have it. Like I said I just didn't wanna risk losing all of my endorsement tests and everything because I couldn't pass that one so I just left it off.

like someone else said, now that you have your CDL, they cannot take away anything, well, they can always revoke your license, but you had better be pretty darned good at having that done....!!!! -
I think its best ask your states department of motor vehicals and or your company/school

all he has to do is "do it". -

thence, "not to worry"..???
