There is at least one (VDO? I forget) that advertised it does not store anything in the cloud and must be downloaded from the device. That way there is no 3rd party holding on to the data.

Unless the government requires the use of all trucks to be equipped with elogs and find out how screwed up all the different systems are and mandate 1 system only
I wouldn’t sweat it -
Until I email that pdf to the carrier, nobody without access to my tablet or computer has access to my logs. They aren't floating around anywhere in cyberspace or in any cloud controlled by a 3rd party. When I email it to the carrier, they save it in their computer. 6 months later, they hit delete and for all practical purposes they are gone.Hulld Thanks this. -
