DOT Physical Exam

I believe every examiner is different. I've never been stripped naked during a dot physical. Never had my nuts juggled while coughing either. I guess what it comes down to is if the dr is in to that kind of stuff.

 

wait till they check your prostate in front of everyone and yes you will be called to go first.

 

I had 2 DOT exams in the last 2 months (different employers and the second one required a specific provider). Male doctor had me get nekkid for the "turn your head and cough" drill, female doctor had me put on a robe and she reached under it.

 

Prime does it in a private room. You won't have to strip naked, she'll just make you drop your pants for a second or two. Over before you know it. That lady sees hundreds every week, don't worry about it.

 

Hope he has small fingers lmao.

Its a private examine.

Only the military does an open examine and I think they did away with that since they allow gays in the military.

 

With some of these trucking companies bringing in 20 to 30 (or more) people for orientation, I can understand the question. But believe it or not....we are NOT in the service---everyone takes their own physical---all parts of the physical---all the time.

You have a right to confidentiality, and privacy (in the service, you give up that right to a certain degree, and know it going in). If you EVER go with a company, and they line you up like sheep and start barking orders get the hell out of there!
