DOT Compliance Group spams calls and emails with bogus info and prices on authority related items. I'm a bit tired of their #### and was wondering if anyone here knew the best places to forward their scam emails to. Was thinking the FTC? Hope getting this info out there will encourage others to report these guys and hopefully get them shutdown.

I have my Google Assistant screen my calls, then block unwanted numbers...and don't open any of the spam and unsubscribe...it tells them that it's a valid email address, and they'll increase the junk mail....just empty your spam folder with the unopened emails from them.

Let us know when you find out. I average one email a day from them... they even sent one yesterday.

They do try to scam you all the time.
I updated with my biennial update as soon as I could, and yet I'm still getting letters and emails from them saying you are not in compliance you will be put out of service you must comply immediately contact us!
My best advice for anyone becoming an owner-operator is join OOIDA.
Anytime anybody contacts me with anything that seems questionable or I wonder if I'm in compliance one quick phone call to them and I know what's what.Speed_Drums, TallJoe and nikmirbre Thank this. -
If i knew how to get rid of em id share the news but they seem to harass everyone

You get a phone ($20 a month) and a gmail email account (FREE), you use these when you apply for the authority, you check them daily like at 5pm or what ever and you just use them for the authority, if these a need to contact you, then you can respond to any message within 24 hours.

There's actually a Federal law against it (yes the FTC handles it) but it's not really enforced. For email trash I use my webserver's (business email and domain) mail rules to immediately delete the message and autorespond with a message of my own. After I do it once I never hear from them again no matter what they send me. I can even block entire domains...it's great. For phone calls, I transposed a couple digits of my phone number listed on the MCS-150. Again, it works like a charm!

They're getting on my nerve too - even worse than the lousiest factoring companies. $ 199 for biennial report!!! It takes what...2 minutes with login in and login out. The even called me to tell me that I updated it incorrectly..., yeah right!
Now they spam me everyday. Their "unsubscribe" option does not work.
Man...I'd rather have my tooth pulled out alive than get any "service" from them. I have more respect for the bums asking me for a dollar at the expressway ramp than for them. -
Maybe there is a way to report them to Better Business Bureau.
Dino soar Thanks this.
