Refund. Move on. But, she needs likes and views to feed her ego and bank account. These people make me ill.

Not as ill as the jack*** that pulled this stunt!
    Delivery Driver Eats Customer’s Food

This is the 2nd time in recent months where someone has eaten a customer’s food! DoorDash doesn’t need the negative publicity, otherwise people won’t order anything through them.

As the linked article states: “allegedly”.

These people are relying on the views and likes for that check. I struggle to believe them.

I’ve never ordered anything through them, as I just can’t see paying even more than I’d already pay for the food. Plus, I don’t like cold food.

BTW, I have an ex- whose kid spent over $1K in one month, for door dash. She was steadily feeding that kid cash, who lives with her BF, and I’m like “WTF?!”.

I rarely have pizza delivered. I just go pick it up. Not fond of delivery that stinks like cigarettes.

Speaking of pizza, I stumbled onto these at Walmart. It’s dang good for frozen.

Well like the young lady said:”it’s the principle”!
Sometimes you have to prosecute theft like this, otherwise it could lead to further transgressions, especially if payment involved a credit or debit card transaction.
It’s almost like shoplifting,a lot of places prosecute theft to the limit of the law. In some cases it’s considered larceny/grand larceny ($126 is A LOT of food to swipe).

Unfortunately there are still restaurants that are only doing drive thru or delivery orders because the inside of the restaurants are closed due to Covid, staffing shortages or a combination of the two (there’s a certain Steak & Shake restaurant in Effingham,Illinois that comes to mind) so in some cases food delivery like Door Dash is essential.

    JoeyJunk Thanks this.

I love the idea of farming out errands like picking up take away food
    But
As mentioned its going to arrive cold
I would be worried someone ate part of it or messed with it in some way
Much rather have it not show up at all then half eaten or worse

hope not dumb twucker and ducnut Thank this.
